Cartier Handbags Donated to Charity Shopposted on 2 September 2010 | posted in Handbag and fashion ArticlesCharity shops can often be a dumping ground for peoples clothing rubbish, but luck has changed for one shop. STAFF at the Oxfam charity shop in Yeovil have been left shocked after receiving a donation of two genuine Cartier handbags – worth around £1,650. Shop manager Andrew Cordery said the two bags were handed in with authentication and the original protective bags they came in. “Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet the kind person who donated these valuable items, but I would like to thank her for them,” he said. “They were handed in to one of our volunteers from a donor who drove to our back door along with some very nice clothing items, and before I could go out and say thank-you, she had gone.” The kind donor also gave the Oxfam store a Mulberry filofax worth around £175 if bought new. The items have all been listed on Oxfam’s website in the hope that they will sell soon and help raise money for the charity’s projects. Share this blog entry:
