Evening Wear On A Budget You may be the type of women who hates formal occasions and only attends them very rarely. Or you may be the outgoing lady who is always in demand at functions and runs out of outfits very quickly. Either way you may not want to spend a fortune on one outfit. The classic little black dress is always a wise buy, the simpler the style the better it will be.



Accessorise is the key word. A long dress can be shortened and used for different social occasions. A few well chosen accessories can create many different looks.



Shrugs are in fashion and come in many fabric textures and colours. A sparkly silver shrug worn over a black dress with silver bangles shoes and evening bag can look fantastic. For a different look, simply change the accessories to gold. Wear a wide fashion belt, statement pieces of fashion jewellery.



Why not invest in a good pair of black trousers or long black skirt which can be worn with a variety of evening tops. A velvet skirt and satin ivory top is a classic look that can be dressed up or down as the occasion demands.



Big bold pattern smock type tops are in fashion this season and can easily be dressed up for more formal wear.

Don’t forget that the internet stores are also full of bargains, shop carefully and make sure they will exchange an outfit that does not fit.



If you do break the budget on an outfit that you know you will never wear again, put it on ebay quick while it is still in fashion or take it to one of the shops that sell clothes for you. It’s better to get a little money back.
