Prom Shoes and Prom Bags

You have the dress, now you need the shoes. Don’t fall in love with the first pair you try just because they are the height of fashion, think if they will be comfortable if you are dancing all night. Over 80% of shoes designed for special occasions are uncomfortable and will leave you with very sore feet.
Try some wedge heeled shoes, they are very fashionable at the moment and will not only give you height but also support your foot more.
Strappy shoes may look good but they are uncomfortable, choose a shoe with an enclosed toe for comfort and elegance.
Don’t spend hours trying to match the shoe colour to the dress, choose a complimentary colour. Black is a classic elegant look that will work well with a dark coloured dress. For a pastel shaded dress, choose ivory rather than white.
Your dress will have cost a fortune and will only be worn once. Try to pick shoes that you will wear after your prom. Then do the same with your evening bag. This way you can wear both accessories together on many occasions.
